Kind Stranger - 2021 Rosé
The wine is pale provencal style rosé with perfect crispness. Notes of wild strawberry, watermelon rind and fresh blossom abound.

This direct-to-press intentional rosé is primarily from Oldfield Vineyard in Yakima, with Ravenscliff and Northridge Vineyards in Wahluke Slope supporting. The wine is pale provencal style rosé with perfect crispness. Notes of wild strawberry, watermelon rind and fresh blossom abound.

About Kind Stranger
Kind Stranger is a project began by Andrew Latta of Latta Wines in 2016. We’ve seen our national landscape shift over the last few years and we feel it’s as important as ever to be a real kind stranger in the world. Proceeds from this wine benefit Mary’s Place at the local level here in Seattle and the International Rescue Committee on a broader scale. Mary’s Place is a nonprofit organization in Seattle that provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. The International Rescue Committee provides clean water, shelter, health care, education and empowerment support to refugees and displaced people in more than 40 countries and in 26 U.S. cities.
About the Columbia Valley AVA
The Columbia Valley gets its name from the river that cuts through the appellation. The river itself was named after Captain Robert Gray's ship, the Columbia Rediviva, which was the first to travel up the river in 1792.
